St. Antony's Church
The land floats silently, surrounded by a peaceful green melody.
The morning awakens to the sweet song of birds.
Grains sway in the sound of water.
The fragrance of sand is enchanting.
The breeze from the fields soothes the heart with peace.
The emergence of St. Anthony's Church in Kanyakulam is a miracle.
In June 2011, Rev. ArulRaj consecrated the crucifixion statue in a thatched hut, after which daily prayers were held at 4 pm.
On August 15, the feast day of St. Anthony, a statue of the saint was blessed by the late Rev. Antony Benziger.
The worship service was attended with great enthusiasm by people from all faiths, castes, and racial backgrounds.
As of November 7, 2011, a prayer and rosary to Saint Antony was held every Tuesday at 4 pm.
